Hand-lasted, hand-sewn, object-dyed. Materials sourced locally, in Italy. Made in Italy. All footwear undergo immersion in a tannin- and alcohol-based dye bath with metal oxidizers for up to 48 hours. Compressed in burlap and sealed, allowing marbling and fiber tension to develop. Steamed over salt water allows the leather to contract and harden. After air drying, minimal conditioning is used to preserve the structured, untreated finish. Produced in limited quantities.
